The problem
Why this, why now
Finance software sells business owners a tool and calls it a solution. Almost nobody does the actual work — the categorization, the reconciliation, the close — which is both the part that eats the time and the part no owner wanted to do. Bookkeepers and controllers do it, but the math on hiring enough of them rarely works, so books stay weeks behind, closes slip past the point where the numbers can still change a decision, and owners end up flying blind on businesses they built themselves. It only gets worse the more you own: single-business tools don’t consolidate, and enterprise ERPs are built for a finance department nobody at this size has.
We think the fix isn’t another dashboard — it’s actually doing the work: closing the books, every entity, every month, on time, with a human checking the AI’s work instead of the other way around. That’s a narrow, deep problem, and we’re a small team building it for real customers, not a deck.
